The image shows all of the toys with eyes owned by my daughter at the age of two when she was on the cusp of speaking.  A relative who worked in a secondhand store would reserve favorite toys as they were donated and then mail bunches of them to the girl.  Each of the 401 toys were photographed separately on a product photography table that lights a subject evenly from all sides.  Then these individual images were scaled to half normal size and placed in a white digital void the shape of the human visual field.
